Hey mate,
This morning I received an amazing email, from a mate who asked me some very powerful questions. While answering them, I thought you might enjoy them tremendously and benefit from them as well.
If you have just 4 minutes, read them over, then ask yourself how you would answer Greg’s questions:
Enjoy… Original emailed questions below:
Greg: What do you think has helped you maintain your vision and focus through the constant distractions of daily life?
I do get distracted. What gets me back on target, usually very quickly is using AUDITORY (sound) in the most powerful way. Sound is best used for SETTING DIRECTION. (Most people try to use AUDITORY for what visual is best used for, that’s what makes them all look and behave like sheep, but that’s another story.) To use AUDITORY and to stay on track, I simply ask, “how does this action / behavior HELP ME accomplish my vision? Does this action / behavior distract me from it, or move me directly forward. I asked myself THOSE EXACT QUESTIONS, when it came to answering your email. That way, I can use this course of action to benefit me, you and others. (This is going up on 2020motivation.com, because THAT is an action that popped in when I asked those questions….)

Greg: If you were my age, and had the knowledge that you have now, what would you have done differently?
Nothing. It’s a hypothetical. Oh yeah, I would email Twenty Twenty and go to Scout Camp. Actually, this pretty much IS what I did at your age…. (Hope you enjoyed that one mate!)

Greg: Is there one piece of advice that you could give me that could benefit me forever, or one piece of advice about people/group dynamics that unlocked the way you interact with people?
Be authentic. It’s the only thing that will allow your light to shine. Being anything else will require that you keep yourself motivated artifically, or use persuasion skills to keep them motivated, artificially.

Greg: What motivates you to help people? Why were you drawn to what you do today? Do you think you (or one person) really can change the world?
What motivates me is that there are people in this world. Not that they need my help, or any help, but that there are people. I am living as well as I do today, because other people in the past made specific decisions. I want to make the best decisions, followed by actions to do the same for those who will be coming here. I think the answer to your last question above is obvious, grin.
Hey Greg, I am removing the rest of YOUR email below, and posting this to http://www.2020motivation.com to help others. Your info is not going to be in the email, but if you want to stop by and comment, I would be honored.
Hugs, love, and success to you,
Your Friend,
PS: Looking forward to seeing you if you decide to come to Scout Camp in October!
PPS: If you know anyone in Radio who would enjoy interviewing me, hook us up! My story is riveting, and what I have done with it inspires many. Send them to exhostage.com for details and take a few moments to introduce us proper if you would be so kind!
